UNPLUGGED- Photo Exhibition

Unplugged: Best of the UK 🇬🇧 photo exhibition in Kolkata.

• A total of 84 images of Great Britain taken by 19 photographers from Kolkata and London will be exhibited in the Bengal Gallery of ICCR.
• This exhibition is part of the Great British Season by British Deputy High Commission Kolkata.
  Bengal Heritage Foundation is delighted to partner with
  British Deputy High Commission Kolkata and Indo British Scholars’ Association on this project.

FAGUN FEST

In the fifth edition of our annual Fagun Fest, we bring an evening of ethereal traditional and folk performances from East and North East India from across Assam, Bengal, Bihar, Manipur and Orissa.

RABINDRA JAYANTI

This year we will focus on Tagore’s interpretations of the multifaceted nature of love featuring:

• “Rabi O Rathi,” exploring the fillial relationship between Tagore and his son. Presented by the interdisciplinary artist, Sujoy Prosad Chatterjee. It is a dramatic narration featuring a dialogue between Rabindranath and his son Rathindranath Tagore.
• “Tomarei Koriachi Jibonero Dhrubotara”, presented by BHF members where we explore the intricacies of love as depicted in Tagore’s various mellifluous songs and poems.

THE THINK TANK

A Webinar series has been designed to connect people with shared interest on art, culture and heritage of Bengal. These webinars will be hosted by BHF and will include participants from the UK, Ireland, India and Bangladesh and other parts of the world.  Each webinar will examine current issues which impact Indians living in the UK and Ireland. They will have eminent speakers with deep understanding of the topic and there will be opportunity for audience to ask questions real time.
